Farm to Classroom Agricultural Literacy Training Program

Are you interested in learning how to better incorporate agricultural concepts, such as Mississippi commodities, into your classroom learning experiences?

Are you interested in learning more about agricultural literacy resources available to you as a teacher?

Are you looking for a way to earn TWO CEU credits, for FREE, from the comfort of your own home?

Registration is now open for the virtual Farm to Classroom: Agriculture in the Classroom Professional Development Program!

This four-week program will provide

  1. an introduction to agricultural literacy
  2. strategies for integrating agriculture into the Core "4" subject areas
  3. an overview of pedagogy associated with agricultural education, and
  4. tips on agricultural literacy lesson planning.

This professional development opportunity will begin October 1, 2020 and conclude October 31, 2020.

Applications to participate in this Virtual and FREE professional development opportunity are due September 15, 2020.
